hello deary readers of barangkita  =)

so, we meet again in another chapter of barangkita and this is the entry where we gonna talk about two selected articles that we've extract from wikihow.com.

as we browse through the website, we found two interesting articles entitled 'How To Be Beautiful when You Have A Disability' and 'How To Be Nice To Your Family'. so, lets go through these articles and please read off our comments on these interesting articles. okay....let's go with the first article.


HOW TO BE BEAUTIFUL WHEN YOU HAVE A DISABILITY

INTRODUCTION
Everybody is beautiful, but if you don't feel it and you don't have confidence then it won't show. Of course, you always will have inner beauty but trust me, no matter how bad or ugly you feel, you are not.

STEPS:
STEP 1
Don't try so hard. You're beautiful the way you are, accept that. Of course some people look better then others, but chances are you have way more inner beauty then them. Don't put on so much makeup and don't try to wear short skirts and tank tops because that "what everyone else is doing"


STEP 2
Be confident. The reason people aren't confident is because they think they lack attention and sometimes they think they lack friends. You are getting all the attention you need, if you have a disability, that's never something to be ashamed of, people want to know more about it, they want to know you. You are getting all the attention you need.


STEP 3
Be yourself. Millions of people will tell you this, and its so true but its also very hard. It's very hard to accept yourself for the way you are. Don't be someone else, you were born this way for a reason! You have so much to accomplish and you have so much you can give, don't bother trying to be someone else.


STEP 4
Be kind and nice. People will see your personality and think of how beautiful you are on the inside, and start seeing your beauty on the outside, too.


TIPS:
Try to think positive and confident

Why do we found this article interesting is because it is related to our daily life. some, people who have disabilities feel uncomfortable and lack of self-esteem. this will effect their social living as they doesn't want to interact with others. in some aspect, they must communicate with peoples in their environment so that they won't be left behind in this world of advanced technologies. for those who are having this problem, you may refer to this article to gain your confidence and start a new life with new spirit. actually, this article does help one of barangkita crew so much as she also have a disability. she faced a bad experience in her life as she was ashamed to meet people and interact with the public.but now, she is an active and light-hearted girl that we have ever known. so, this is how we found this article interesting. =D






 

HOW TO BE NICE TO YOUR FAMILY


INTRODUCTION:
Family represents people living together by ties of marriage and blood or adaptation. Family needs a respect from their family member itself because each person in family is important to each others. There is a few tips on how to be nice to your family:

STEPS:

Ø  Don't raise your voice.

This will only anger your other family members. Even if you are an adult, keep in mind that when you raise your voice, it usually ends in an argument.

Ø  Help your family out by doing small chores around the house.

If you are a kid or teen, make sure you do all of your chores and complete them thoroughly.

Ø  Earn "Winky Points."

Buy someone a gift to show how much you care about them, Not necessarily just to get them to be nice to you.

Ø  Be open.

Share your ideas and opinions. With that there would be better communication resulting to a more harmonious relationship. Talk. When you have good, long conversations with family members, it shows them that you care and are interested in their lives. But when you talk, talk in a kind and unselfish way.

Ø  Be respectful.

When you are respectful, you earn respect of others, and when there is respect, there are no arguments.

OUR COMMENTS:

There are several reasons why we find this article interesting and important for public viewing. As we know, is a key cornerstone of our family life. Either happy or not, is the happiness..However now, not many people appreciate and love their families and ultimately lead to the destruction of institutions. To avoid this occurrence from happening, there are a few tips that can be practiced to ensure harmony the family with the article above  .

meeting again in our latest entry. first of all, we would like to wish all the viewers Happy New Year may all of us will be blessed in this 2012. hopefully, this year will be much better than previous year. =)

okay guys, talking about activities, for this entry we are going to share few activities that we have done throughout the year 2011 and 2010



OUR FIRST STORY IS ...

FACULTY OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SEMESTER DINNER

first activity that we have done in September 2010 is our faculty semester dinner. this activity was held during the first semester of barangkita crews. all the students dressed up nicely and everybody looked stunning at that night. the theme for the dinner was 'one night in the garden' and some dignitaries have been specially invited. the event. this event was inaugurated by the Head of Business Faculty, Pn. Rozieanna A. Halid. some lecturers were also present to support this event. everybody was so excited and taking pictures here and there. at that night, all guest were served with chicken chop, coleslaw, moist chocolate cupcake as dessert and fresh orange. at that night, one of the student was chosen as the Queen of Night. everybody were very satisfied with the tentative of the program. while enjoying the dinner, guests were entertained with exciting performance from show participants. the event end at 11.30p.m. and everybody was happy. it was a very memorable event for Faculty of Business Management students. so, here are some of the pictures that we took all the night together. taraaaa ..... =D

OUR SECOND STORY IS ...

BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR OCTOBER BABIES

happy birthday !!!!
this event was held in month of October in 2010 at Infra Science Tech building (IST). it is a celebration for all October babies in our class. the preparation for this event has been held since the evening. Nadia, Ain(our former classmate), Ayu and Adilla went to town to buy birthday cake, snacks and beverages and they sneaked off to KFC .  the main menu is spaghetti that was cooked by our BEL lecturer, Miss Siti Zuhara binti Zulkifly. candle blowing event was held after all classmates sang 'happy birthday' song. all the October's babies used the cake cutter and slice the cake into pieces to share with other classmates. we enjoy the cake and spaghetti together. our classmates start charging on each other by applying the cream cake on their faces admin pun kena jugak . we took pictures together as memories to remember in the future. we would like to share the pictures with all our readers. =)

OUR THIRD STORY IS ...

BRASS BAND'S FESTIVAL 

Temasya Brass Band (in Malay) on July 2011
la la la la la ... since one of the crew of barangkita is the Commander of Brass Band, we had experienced the feel of Brass Band Festival. this event involved the performance of Ko Brass Band Part 2. after a month of training, the students performed in front of hundreds students and VIPs. the events was inaugurated by our vice-chancellor of Students Affairs, En. Mokhtar b. Samad. the song they performed is On The Floor by Jennifer Lopez ft Pitbull. one of the students from every section won the best player in the band. the seniors also made a performance to supprot their juniors. as audience, we enjoy the performance and admin jerit sampai sakit tekak kot . hopefully, you guys will enjoy the photos taken below  (^.^).

OUR FOURTH STORY IS ... 

MERDEKA-RAYA SEPT 2011

Selamat Hari Raya & Selamat Hari Merdeka...

why do we have to handle this event - not handle but get involve? because we have to compete with other blocks. at first, we have no idea how to decorate our  booth named 'BLOK K'...the most special thing about our booth is the sponsored 'bihun sup' - by our Resident Scout, Ustaz Mohd Zaki (^.^).  a day before the event, our GM (AA), Sales Manager (Hazzy) and Finance Manager from sugar ant sweet (Wahyu) went to Temerloh to find decorative items as they were pointed to decorate the booth. the most difficult item to find is 'buluh lemang' to include the element of  'raya' keje AA la ni...mengada sangat nak lemang bagai . so, they started to decorate the booth at 3p.m. in the evening on Sunday. the event start at 8.30p.m. . thank GOD that the Head of Block gave us 100% morale support - thanks Kak Ina (^.^). the main menu at our booth is our fried 'bihun' - divide into two, Bihun Singapore and Bihun Mamak. during the event, we were approached by the rector of campus, Prof. Madya Dato' Dr. Hj. Hilmi bin Ab Rahman and he has praised our booth. yeayyy...hehehe =) . okay, after the performance of some students, the judges came to evaluate our booth and the competition result was announced at the end of the event. and the outcomes is our booth won first place in the competition and everybody was excited !!!! especially our GM  . we have received a hamper as the prize. below are the pictures of the event. ;-)

OUR FIFTH STORY IS ...

KASIMA - KArnival organisaSI MAhasiswa

one of the Student Representative Council (a.k.a. MPP) activity - coupon is provided

okay, this is one of the most interesting events because almost all students of UiTM Jengka Pahang were there.  many stalls that have been opened at Dataran Integrasi and all clubs are competing with each others to attract students and join their organisation.  MPP also has opened a counter for students who wish to give constructive criticism or suggestion and make complaints about the problems they experienced. most of the booths opened have also provided games for the visitors so that they will be interested to register as a member of the club. one more thing, each club will share their semester planning and expose the students with the activities of their club. for example, Capoeira Club makes demonstration of arts of Capoeira and apparently, everybody will cheer for them. here are some of the pictures taken =D
